It connects millions of travelers to memorable experiences, a variety of transportation options, and incredible places to stay – from homes to hotels, and much more. As one of the world’s largest travel marketplaces for both established brands and entrepreneurs of all sizes, Booking.com enables properties around the world to reach a global audience and grow their businesses.

Booking.com is available in 43 languages and offers more than 28 million reported accommodation listings, including over 6.2 million homes, apartments, and other unique places to stay.

Challenges:

  • Managing multiple target languages and cross-media content while maintaining consistent output
  • Delivering a high volume of translated and localised content without compromising quality or speed
  • Interpreting and translating a single brand identity and voice across a broad range of languages
  • Maintaining daily contact with 10 offices worldwide and providing regular updates on progress

The result

PromoLingua acts as a single point of contact for the company’s localisation projects. This has allowed for further unifying of processes between our teams, helping to keep the brand’s tone and voice consistent, regardless of the source of the translation.
