    What is Promolingua?

Promolingua is a professional translation and localization service provider. We have been offering accurate translation services for the last 10 years to our clients, in 180 languages and various areas of expertise.

What makes you different from other translation companies?

We select the translators we work with from a pool of thousands of professional freelancers worldwide, and we constantly optimize our production processes to help our Project Managers work as best as possible, concentrating on the tasks that really bring value to the final output of your projects, such as quality assurance. The fact that we receive new orders almost entirely from referrals is an indication that our approach to quality and dedicated approach to every single project is taken very seriously.

How do I count the words in my document?

    You have a few options:

    • Type a word count estimate manually in the same panel, considering that a full A4 page normally contains about 250 words.
    • Send us the files via the contact form or via email at [email protected]
    What can you translate?

We can translate any file formats, and you can upload your files via instant quote panel.

If you have complex needs and you prefer to discuss your project personally, just get in touch, and we will be glad to find the perfect solution for you.

Can you translate my entire website?

Certainly, we can translate one landing page or even the entire website in multiple languages. For more information you can request a custom quote on our contact us page.

    Are your translations certified?

We offer the option to add a Certificate of Translation Accuracy to your order. This certificate attests that the translation was carried out by a professional native translator to the best of his/her ability. Certified translations have an additional cost of €15.00 (or 3% of the total price for orders over €500).

How do I order a certified translation?

You can request a Certificate of Translation Accuracy by simply asking our team when contacting us.

    What does authorised translation mean?

There is no universal standard for the authorisation of translations, and the certification process varies from country to country. For example, in Sweden, a certified/authorised translation is produced by a translator who has been authorised by the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegiet) by providing sample translations to check that the translator’s proficiency at general texts, legal texts and financial texts in the language combination concerned.

What is the difference between an authorised translation and a normal translation?

An authorised translation may be needed in certain cases. For example, when a translation will need to be authorised include annual reports, certificates, testimonials, extracts from registers and legal documents that will be used in court. Customers may ask for an authorised medical translation, but because it is not possible to obtain authorisation for medicine as a specific subject area, this will not necessarily mean the translation is of a higher quality and there may be a risk that a skilled medical translator will be excluded.

What industry sectors can you translate?

Promolingua specializes in working with all industries such as software, hardware, telecom, medical & life sciences, insurance, manufacturing, automotive and many others.

How long will it take for my documents to be translated?

The time we take to translate your documents will depend on your project size, document complexity and language. We don’t offer a “one-size-fits-all” solution or service. And, as every request is different, we invite you to contact us to discuss your individual requirements. We’ll always do our best to exceed your expectations, within any deadline.

How much does a translation cost?

Prices vary based on the length, difficulty, and format of your texts. For more information you can get a cost quote on our pricing page.

How do I get a free quote?

You can send us the files via the contact form or via email, and our Account Manager will get back to you within a couple of hours with a quote.

Is there a minimum order size?

There is no minimum order size and we are happy to work with you on any type of project.
